Good resource to know where to get your vitamins and essential fats from natural resources like fish and fruit. Always keep in mind knowing your allergies and contradictions especially when trying something new. I love the chia seeds pudding and the natural ways to support immune health.

This book is a bit different than any other book I have. It is full of bullet points and numbered lists. While that may sound odd IT WORKS! When live is full of distractions and you look away fromy your book, it is easy to pick up right where you left off!
This is not just a book for herbal remedies. It is full of tips for healthy living.
She (Michelle Andrews, author of the book) includes herbs mental health, sleep, immune system support, pain and other ailments. There a ton interesting recipes I will definitely be trying out soon! She talks about sourcing your herbs; purchasing, wild crafting, growing your own, etc the right way- for both the person and the earth. She touches on making a remedies, including teas and elixirs. She touches on salves, but that part could use a bit more information .
Something I found to be very important is she references several times throughout the book to refer to a healthcare professional. While some might find it difficult to find a Dr that supports the use of herbs, healthcare professionals play an important part.
This book is a nice “in a nutshell” book.
It does include ways to find more herbal resources.
I am happy to have this book as part of my herbal collection!

The whole book is very well laid out. Researched properly and the table of contents helps to guide you to the right spot. I would recommend this to those seeking the more important basic herbs for healthy living. Excellent explanations and the recipes are fantastic. Extremely impressed. Lots of basic information, tons of help on how to grow your own plus the warnings on how to figure which will work for you and how to recognize this. Love it!

Great book for people who want an alternative to medications. I hate taking medications and if I can find an alternate herbal remedy to take I will do that as its from nature and not made in a lab.
