    This is more than a food journal! This is an accountability diary in every aspect.
    When you open this book, you are welcomed by a goal setting activity to the left and gets you excited on the right with blank spaces for before and after pictures. Just underneath are two columns for measurements, one for now, one for your results. The following pages contain weekly weight, measurement tracker, exercise plan and exercise calendars.

    Not only can you track the date, day, your sleep hours and weight right at the top of the page, but you also record breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, tracking their quantity, calories, proteins, fats and carbs on a daily basis. You can also view and track your totals each day for all macros. There is also a space to track activities and exercise, allowing you to record qty / time and calories burned. Water, caffeine, mood, sugar-free, gluten-free, lactose-free, energy, stress and digestion are all interactable options to be tracked, checked or measured on same page, allowing you to measure and track your progress at a glance. Adding to this impressive tool is the adjacent page allowing quick view of your habit tracker for the week, your goals and your meal planner for each major meal for all 7 days beginning with Monday.

    The month view is pretty standard and is clustered with every month back to back, allowing all weeks to continuously flow into each other without interruption. The month pages do have spaces to record notes and to-dos on the left border of the layout and a quadrant reserved for goals on one side and another quadrant on the opposite page for self-care and general well-being activities. Overall, this is a pretty comprehensive tool geared towards making your goals attainable and promoting positive reinforcement by being able to measure your progress on multiple matrixes.

    Really like this food journal. Woth the calendar in the front, I was able to combine my paper calendar with the journal. I would like if it didn’t have food journal embossed on the front cover, but I can live with it.

    As a long-time user of Clever Fox and Legend Planner products, this Food Journal is a fantastic continuation of their high quality product line. This food journal offers more than you expect by having areas to track food, calories, exercise, habits and more. It’s your book so you can tailor it to your needs, and do as much or as little tracking as you want. I’ve been tracking the last 35 days and although there was some initial reluctance on my part, thanks to using this in conjunction with my Legend Planner it’s become a daily habit to track my food, at a minimum, especially since I have dietary restrictions.
