So, we might as well just invest in it. This book helped me greatly at getting a better picture at how to deal with this topic; I had absolutely no clue before. It can really help improve productivity and over well being and health when you actually put thought into it. The structure is very clear and the author goes straight to the point, which I appreciate greatly. This is a very compact and effective book to read.

The Healthy Office: Turning Workspaces into Happiness & Success spaces by Ninad Tapnis is a book that makes a lot of valid points. Due to a lot of us that spend most of our lives in the office, why shouldn’t it be somewhere that enhances our wellbeing. A lot of us can honestly say that the office isn’t that type of environment but reading this was very interesting.
The author has a lot of experience and comprehensive knowledge in workspace design, revealing strategy and how making a workspace people focused is not only good for productivity but also good for the staff’s wellbeing. People in managerial or leadership roles would find this useful in order to tap into this idea to make things better all round. Happy staff equals productivity, comradery & people being less likely to leave. They may also be inclined to recommend their place of work to friends and family. I found this really interesting & certainly am taking the advice away with me to discuss with my manager to hopefully boost moral in my team.
