I think this book was what you paid for. It had a lot of recipes and there were lots of pictures. Some of the recipes were a little generic, but there were quite a few interesting ones as well. There are multiple sections in this recipe book, some for smoothies, some for juices, some for teas, and some for infused water. I think I’ll be keeping this book for a while.

When papaya season came, my husband went crazy and brought way too many. I had no idea what to do with so many. I started googling recipes and came across this book. I tried the Carrot Papaya Milkshake and it was so creamy! I wouldn’t recommend drinking this when papaya’s aren’t ripe though, it’s the only thing that makes this shake sweet.

The more I drank the store bought juices, the more I realized how much it was costing me money and health wise. There’s a large amount of sugar in that stuff, it’s why it tastes so good. I brought this book hoping it’s going to save me a few bucks and a few pounds. Pomegranate and Beetroot sounded like a terrible idea to me. I love pomegranate juice on its own already so I didn’t want to change something that already tasted so good. But I figured I would give it a shot. I was really surprised at how it turned out. The honey really balances and brings out the fruits. I would recommend this recipe to anyone.

The ginger tea as milk! I’ve never tried a milky ginger tea before, but I’ve always liked ginger tea. I must admit, when I read there was milk in it, I was worried it would just make me have a messy stomach. But regardless, I gave it ago. The honey and milk paired really nicely with the ginger. It took out the raw spiciness of the ginger and it was so good! It’s a must try for everyone.

This book is worth its value! It saved me from listening to my husband complain. He had a bad cold he just couldn’t seem to get rid of, so I made him the ginger tea. He was really resistant about drinking it. He was worried about the spiciness and whether it would sting his throat. I added an extra bit of honey and a slice of lemon. He eventually drank it and he said his chest feels less tight. I think that’s a good thing, because he stopped complaining.

I have never been a big fan of thick drinks. While browsing, I realized a lot of these drinks can be juiced versus blended. I am a big fan of the Apple Honey Green Tea. It is light, and not too overbearing. While drinking the tea, there are hints of apple that come out. On bad days, I put in an extra spoon of honey 😉

Haven’t used it yet but it seems ok

My friend suggested I try this book, so I bought the kindle version. Easy recipes and the ingredients are easy to find. I like how they included an infused water section, which works for me when I am at the gym or even coming back from a run and want something quick and hydrating. A lot of the infused waters could be made ahead of time.

I’m sure that the recipes are good but she does not say which juices or smoothies can be used for weight loss or cleanses. If it’s in the title it should be in the book. Disappointed that it is not.
